HTC is all set to launch its HTC Bolt (or HTC 10 Evo in markets outside the United States) on Nov. 11; however, a new handset named HTC Desire A17 is expected to be released alongside the Bolt according to a well-known HTC tipster.

As reported by Phone Arena, a text by ROM developer and HTC tipster LlabTooFeR states that HTC's new device, codenamed the HTC Desire A17, will be released along with the HTC Bolt.

The unannounced device is likely to be unveiled around the same time as the HTC Bolt. Since the Bolt is supposed to be announced on Nov. 11 in the U.S., the official revealing date of the HTC Desire A17 should be weeks away from the said release.

As of today, rumors on the Desire A17's specs and features are scarce, except that it will apparently have Android 6.0.1 pre-installed with Sense 8. In addition, the Desire 530, a budget phone introduced during the Mobile World Congress event earlier this year, was code-named Desire A16, which leads to speculations that the Desire A17 will succeed the said handset, TechTimes reported.

In order to gain some information to Desire A16's successor, Desire A17, the former handset's specifications could give an idea of its sibling's future features.

The HTC Desire 530 features a 5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. A Snapdragon 210 chipset is under the hood carrying a quad-core 1.1GHz CPU and the Adreno 304 GPU. 1.5GB of RAM is inside Desire 530 along with 16GB of expandable native storage. A 2TB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.

An 8MP camera graces the back of the unit, with a 5MP camera on front to snap selfies and handle video chats. Keeping the lights on is a 2200mAh battery. The phone was originally priced at $159.99 when it was launched last March 11.

"The HTC Desire 530 comes with a high-quality amp that boosts volume and bass to impressive levels without distorting the sound. Coupled with the HTC BoomSound Dolby Audio Profile, your music has never sounded better - no matter what earphones you're using," says HTC.

In the United States, HTC is selling the Desire 530 at a price tag of $179. Verizon is offering the Desire 530 at a full retail price of $144. It could be estimated that the Desire A17's price should round on the same price at launch.
