Nineties Batman, Michael Keaton, will have the chance to get villainy in the upcoming movie "Spiderman: Homecoming" starring Tom Holland. Marvel Studios just confirmed the rumor that Keaton will be play the newest Marvel super villain, Vulture, in the rebooted Spiderman movie.

No less than Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed Keaton's role during an interview with Toronto Sun to promote the movie "Doctor Strange" as reported by UPI. The director expressed that his team has a wish list, which includes Cate Blanchett as Hela for "Thor: Ragnarok" and Keaton as Vulture for "Spiderman: Homecoming."

Keaton was actually reported to be part of the cast in the new Spiderman movie in early May, but his role was not yet confirmed. Marvel fans have been speculating that he may be playing the high flying Vulture, which turns out to be true.

Keaton will play Adrian Toomes, a former electronics engineer who built a flight harness after losing his job according to Screenrant. He uses his expertise in making flying mechanisms for his alter ego, Vulture.

Spiderman will be facing off a villain that can fly and equally match his gymnastics on air. There will also be another villain featured in the new movie, The Tinkerer, who will be supplying the tools for Vulture.

Vulture is based on the 1963 Marvel Comics "The Amazing Spider-man." He made his debut on issue #2 as the second super villain to fight Spiderman preceding the Chameleon. In the new movie, Vulture will still wear a green colored suit, but unlike his comic book version, he will have more tech tools in his arsenal.

Keaton joins a powerhouse cast with Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Zendaya (Michelle), Michael Chernus (The Tinkerer) and Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man). Other casts include Hannibal Buress, Martin Starr, Logan Marshal-Green, Donald Glover and Angourie Rice.

"Spiderman: Homecoming" will be directed by Jon Watts with writers John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein. The movie is set to be released on July 7, 2017.
