The top of the line Surface Pro 5 tablet from Microsoft, which is the successor of the Surface Pro 4, is highly anticipated in the tech world. Leaks pertaining to the Surface Pro 5 have been rare, which consequently created rumors surrounding the device's release and anticipated features.

Upon its release, the next-gen Microsoft tablet is expected to pack in a 16GB of RAM and powered by Intel's Kaby Lake processor. Even so, some rumors claim that the 2-in-1 Microsoft tablet may deploy the Sky Lake processor of Intel instead. The Surface Pro 5 is also anticipated to have Nvidia Pascal GPU or AMD, as well as an enhanced battery with USB-C support, iDigital Times reported.

Anyway, one of the reasons why the American tech giant has had to push back the Surface Pro 5 release date to 2017 is because the Intel Kaby Lake processor is slated to roll out in the last quarter of 2016. In addition, Windows 10 Redstone 2 OS arrival is also scheduled for early 2017. It would make sense for the tech company to pre-load the latest OS on its new tablet.

On the other hand, a great number of top-notch devices were released in the last couple of years. With that, tech enthusiasts now have incredibly powerful laptops, gadgets, smartphones, and of course, tablets. Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro of Apple Inc. were two of the most awaited tablets that were released in 2015. The Surface Pro 4 was unveiled at the beginning of October 2015, and one month later, the iPad Pro rolled out, according to Load The Game.

Thanks to Apple and Microsoft, both the Surface Pro 4 and the iPad Pro are packed with great specs and features. Anyway, this doesn't mean that these devices are perfect, as both of the devices have their pros and cons, so it's not that easy to conclude which of the device is the better than the other.
