Details about HTC's next update to its premium line of flagship, currently called by its unofficial name HTC 11, have been reportedly leaked online ahead of its 2017 launch through the Chinese social media site Weibo. The specs revealed a step-up version of the HTC 11 from its predecessor HTC 10.

According to AndroidPure, the latest rumor on HTC 11 came from a leakster from China, who has a decent track good on revealing leaked details of upcoming devices. As stated on the leak, HTC 11 is expected to carry a 5.5-inch screen capable of producing Quad HD of display resolution, specifically 2560×1440.

MNR Daily reported that the tipster also claims that the next-gen smartphone will flaunt a dual-curved similar to Samsung Edge version. The advanced screen display in HTC11 will be a huge shift from its predecessor as HTC 10's flat screen has a QHD display which becomes comfortable with 5.2 inches ever since the company started manufacturing smartphones.

Under the hood, the HTC 11 is also expected to arrive with an impressive design along with IP67 chassis. The device is also rumored to arrive with a huge battery of 4,000 mAh capacity.

HTC will probably use Snapdragon 821 or Snapdragon 830, while its chipset has not been revealed yet. Reports suggest that the HTC 11 might come in 4 or 6 GB of random access memory (RAM), carrying Google's current build, the Android 7.0 Nougat, right out of the box.

In the case of its optics, HTC 11 will also feature double lenses while boasting a 12-megapixel rear camera, likely with OIS (optical image stabilization) and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies, which is a greater improvement from the 5-megapixel front camera present on HTC 10.

In addition, HTC 11 is rumored to feature a buttonless and waterproof aluminum design and enhanced BoomSound stereo speakers.

Since HTC targets the low-income market, the company's smartphones remain an affordable option with their unit price ranges under $750. Furthermore, HTC 11 is rumored to be close to $750 once sold in the US and is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 on Feb. 27, 2017.
