"Mass Effect 2" and "Mass Effect 3," EA's action role-playing third person shooter video games, are now available on the backwards compatibility feature of Xbox One. Director of Programming for the Microsoft gaming network Xbox Live, Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, made the announcement of the video games' availability through Twitter.

As the video games are now playable on Xbox One, its downloadable content (DLC) has also started to fire up on the Xbox One store, which means, the complete "Mass Effect" video game series is now playable on Microsoft consoles. Wherein, the backwards compatibility already supported the first title in the video game series.

The "Mass Effect" video game series rolls out to the Xbox One on Nov. 7 in tune with EA and BioWare's N7 day, a celebration of the developer and the publisher to the franchise, Polygon reported.

In addition to the backwards compatibility news about the video game series, a brand new trailer of the upcoming action role-playing shooter video game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," has been released.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated to hit the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 before the end of March 2017. The forthcoming action role-playing shooter video game is shaping up well right now, even so, as stated by EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, the publisher could push the release date of the video game if they came to realize that it's the right thing to do, according to Game Spot.

Furthermore, other news of the Mass Effect that seems to have leaked ahead of its schedule includes the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Deluxe Edition and the box art for the PC version, as well as the upcoming video game's $200 remote control replica of the new vehicle, dubbed as the Nomad.
