Olivia Munn, who wrapped up the role Psylocke in "X-Men: Apocalypse," is in talks to star in the forthcoming reboot of the alien action horror film, "The Predator."

As the American actress Munn is in negotiations for the upcoming motion picture, and if the actress agrees the discussion, the actress will join American actor Boyd Holbrook who was announced last month as the film's lead star. Holbrook replaced Benicio Del Toro. It has been said that Munn will portray a scientist opposite to the Special Forces commando of Holbrook.

The setting of the "The Predator" reboot film, which will have the battle against the titular alien, will happen in suburbia. The upcoming film is slated to fire up its production in February, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The Predator" reboot film will be Fox's other big '80s huge franchise. "The Predator" movie is scheduled for a 2018 release, which will be directed and co-written by Shane Black of "Iron Man 3."

That being the case, the American director Black made it known that the tone shifting for the "The Predator" reboot film is important. If Black will get it right, the film will be very scary. However, Black hopes that there'll be some humor in the flick.

Anyway, the original "Predator" film starred the Austrian-American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of a special forces team. Schwarzenegger and his team were tasked to rescue hostages from a guerrilla controlled territory in Central America, The Wrap reported.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his crew encountered the title character, an advanced and aggressive alien. Jesse Ventura and the former professional football player Carl Weathers, portrayed Schwarzenegger's fellow commandos, while the original Predator character was played by Kevin Peter Hall.

In addition, Munn is represented by Atlas Artists and the American talent agency, CAA.
