Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) received its Bluetooth certification just less than a month after passing its WiFi Alliance (WFA) certification test. This could bring the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) release date earlier than first quarter of 2017 as previously speculated.

Gadget fans are anticipating that a December 2016 release date may be in the works, following the tradition of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) release date, which was December 2015. Samsung has given no official announcement as of yet, perhaps in a bid to tweak interest as the South Korean firm is still recovering from the "Note" exploding fiasco.
