A tragic event happened just recently. Italian prince Filippo Corsini, 21 years old, along with his sister Elena, were killed in a vehicle collision in London.

According to reports, the prince was dragged under the wheels of an HGV wagon while he cycled it to the university. He was dragged about 30 yards across a junction located in Knightsbridge. He was supposed to attend a university lecture in Regent's University, in London on October 31, 2016.

According to eye witnesses, the prince was dragged quite a long way before medics were called in. Upon arrival, he was pronounced dead. Unfortunately, due to the injuries sustained, he did not survive. His injuries were too great, cites The Times. Currently, the driver of the wagon, who is 42 years old, is now taken into investigation. The Italian Prince's death is being considered as caused by dangerous driving.

Filippo Corsini was the heir to a Florence family. His last name is symbolic of a noble line. He was a student of Regent's University where he is taking international business as his major. He was a freshman in taking his Bachelor of Arts International Business degree.

The Regent's University released an official statement regarding the tragic accident. According the Regent's University, they send their condolences to Filippo Corsini's family during this tragic time. His friends, fellow students and teachers mourn the loss of Filippo. The University described him as a person who was held in high esteem by everyone.

Regent's University dates back to 1984. It is one of London's and United Kingdom's most respected independent universities. It is also considered to be internationally diverse. It is described as a non profit university which offers undergraduate programs and courses with a distinct combination of practical skills and academic learning. Their students result into professionals with a dynamic international career.

Filippo's family has not yet released their family's official statement.
