Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio and Sony's PS4 Pro mark a big change in the console gaming industry. The tech giants have ripped up the gaming industry when it comes to console upgrades, and these companies continue to duke it out over whose console will be the most powerful machine.

Talking about Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Pro's GPU, Xbox Scorpio is said to be packed with 6 TFLOPS, 320 gigabyte. While PlayStation 4 Pro rolls out with 4.12 TFLOPS, 8 gigabyte GDDR5.

The Graphics memory is the one of only two places video gamers can make direct comparisons. The Xbox Scorpio will likely packs an 8 gigabyte of graphics memory, and the PS4 Pro will also have the same, according to Trusted Reviews.

Furthermore, in terms of the console's memory bandwidth, which is very essential when it comes to 4K and VR, the Xbox Scorpio seems to dominate the PS4 Neo, as Scorpio will come along with 320GB of bandwidth against 218GB. The figure of PS4 Pro isn't confirmed though.

However, the Xbox Scorpio maybe a VR compatible device, but it is uncertain if Scorpio will come along with a virtual reality headset, according to Xbox One head Phil Spencer who spoke to Stevivor. He added that VR creators are yet to perfect the technology of making virtual reality games.

In spite of that, the Xbox One Scorpio has been promoted as the most powerful console ever made. The device is so powerful that Microsoft claimed that Sony's PS4 Pro won't be able to handle true 4K and the Scorpio is aiming higher, Express reported.

Nevertheless, the PlayStation 4 Pro is slated to hit the market next week, specifically on Nov. 10. It appears that Sony will be having the upper hand in terms of getting there first.

While Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio will likely be rolling out sometime in 2017, some tech fans are probably going to be holding off on purchasing Sony's PS4 Pro system until they get a closer look at Xbox Scorpio.
