Players of "World of Warcraft" who do raids, mythic dungeons and other high-end PvE activities may have noticed the high cost of potions, consumables and flasks in the Legion expansion. Wherein a Legion flask will cost a WoW player over 1,500 gold on many servers' auction houses.

These items in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game are expensive for the reason that the Warcraft's PvE content is challenging, especially as a gamer get into the higher difficulty levels of raids and mythic dungeons. The content is designed around the assumption that "World of Warcraft" players will use everything available to them in the video game to build up their characters and maximize the amount of damage they can deal or heal off, according to Polygon.

If a "World of Warcraft" player don't use these items, their performance will fall below the threshold, which is not a good sign to be on the cutting edge of raid progression. Also, the WoW gamer will probably lose their raid slot in most competitive raiding guilds if they don't make a practical use of their consumables.

On the other hand, the Legion expansion of "World of Warcraft" was designed in a fashion to provide more choices for the gamers. "World of Warcraft: Legion" gives players the freedom of selecting zones which then bump up into their level as they went through them.

This change in "World of Warcraft" is something that the video game company, Blizzard, should not be taken for granted in their next expansion. Bringing the massively multiplayer online role-playing game back together so that gamers can experience the older zones with new content, MMORPG reported.

That being said, the Legion expansion really brought Warcraft in line with other updated MMO games. In which, a number of games are putting more choice in the player's hands in terms of where they are going and how they adventure.
