"The Flash" movie just recently lost its director, Rick Fumuyiwa. The director cites "creative differences" as the reason for him departing the production.

Everyone was excited to learn that Fumuyiwa is going to direct the movie adaptation of "The Flash," as his superb work on the movie "Dope" made it feels like Warner Bros. finally found the perfect director.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Famuyiwa released a statement saying that he was really excited to work on the project and to work with the amazing cast of "The Flash" movie. He added that it was such an opportunity to work with the movie characters that he'd grown to love since he was a kid.

It seems that there's no "creative differences" with actor Ezra Miller and Fumuyiwa, as the director has nothing but praises for the young actor. The director added that he was still grateful for the opportunity that was given and that he did the best he can - pitching a storyline that represented his true voice and heart. The director will continue to move forward and find other ways to tell stories suited for today's generation.

This is not the first time "The Flash" movie lost a director. The first one to leave the project was Seth Grahame-Smith. Variety reported Grahame-Smith also cited "creative differences" as the reason for leaving the production.

Is it time to panic? With delays in production and no one to direct the film, there's a strong possibility that the movie can be put on hold. Fumuyiwa has been involved with the project since June and was even involved in the casting. His untimely departure could really hurt the timeline of "The Flash" the movie.

Fans are hoping that things get ironed out soon. As Fumuyiwa said that he still wishes the cast and crew all the best as they continue to explore the speedforce.
