Game developer Schell Games has announced that the award-winning virtual reality game, "I expect You to Die" will come out on PlayStation VR just in time for the holiday season.

"We're thrilled to be working with Sony to bring the incredible immersive world of secret agent of I Expect You to Die to PlayStation®VR owners later this year," CEO Jesse Schell said, according to a VR Focus report. "The game offers a VR experience unlike any other that's challenging, full of fun and nail-biting suspense, and we can't wait to see it in the hands of console players to see how they do."

"I expect You to Die" is a Virtual Reality (VR) spy-themed puzzle game where players attempt to survive deadly situations, DualSHOCKERS reported. The players are the elite secret agents who will use skills and wits to solve puzzles to be able to escape and stop the evil Dr. Zor and its traps. Dying is part of the game and there are over 30 unique ways to die.

To keep the game entertaining, there are two rules for each death set by Schell Games: that is, you have one clue before a death trap, and you have to make it clear why you died. In every venue for a puzzle, there would be interesting ways to die. Either the game will try to kill you or you would accidentally kill yourself. After you die, you will have to restart the mission.

Aside from winning Best Interactive Design and Best Gameplay, "I Expect You To Die" was also named Best Overall VR Experience at the Proto Awards 2015.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the Oculus Touch version will be launched on Dec. 6 but there is no confirmation yet whether the PlayStation version will be out on the same day.
