Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi 5s Plus: Display and dimensions

Mi Note 2 and Mi 5s Plus sport 5.7-inch display (1080 x 1920 pixels, 386 ppi) with the latter being 2 grams heavier. The dual SIM phones differ in the display quality as Mi Note 2 rocks AMOLED screen while the Mi 5s Plus uses IPS LCD display.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi 5s Plus: Camera

Mi Note 2 camera is on par with Google Pixel as it has EIS gyro for steady shots, phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. The rear camera gets 22.5 MP lens while the selfie shooter gets 8MP lens.

On the other hand, Mi 5s Plus offers lower quality in the optics department, pairing dual 13MP rear lens with 4MP front-facing camera, Android Central reported. However, this flagship's dual lens give richer details and better color reproductions as they can be used simultaneously or alone.

Hence, for those who want to purchase iPhone 7 Plus-like device, Mi 5s Plus can be a great affordable alternative.

Xiaomi equips Mi Note 2 with 4,070 mAh battery and Mi 5s Plus with 3,800 mAh battery. Both feature fast-charging up to 83 percent in 30 minutes, GSM Arena has learned.

Mi 5s Plus is sold roughly at $299 and Mi Note 2 is sold at around $178. The price gap makes Mi Note 2 more affordable than Mi 5s Plus even when both are specced similarly. Users who want a large, affordable Xiaomi phone that combines beauty and power can opt for Mi Note 2.

The Marshmallow devices are topped with MIUI 8 interface. Both Xiaomi phones sport Snapdragon 821 processor and two storage variants: 64 GB, 4 GB RAM or 128 GB, 6 GB RAM.
