Samsung never ceases to amaze its huge fanbase. The South Korean handset maker is reportedly gearing up to unveil an all-new Galaxy smartphone dubbed as the Galaxy A5 model.

Samsung released the Galaxy A5 (2016) back in December 2015, and it looks like its successor is set to make an appearance within a couple of months. There are rumors that Samsung has its hands full as the company is currently working on the Galaxy A5 (2017), which was spotted in a benchmark earlier this year, GSM Arena reported.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) got Wi-Fi certified earlier this month, and even before tech pundits could hazard any guesses regarding the device's specs, design or features, a slew of CAD renders showing the device from all angles have surfaced online. Exclusively obtained by Android Authority, in alliance with popular leakster Evan Blass (Twitter handle: @OnLeaks), the said renders sheds more light on the design concept Samsung has in mind for the impending Galaxy A5.

The renders trot out the device's front panel which is protected with 2.5D curved glass, in addition to showing off a selfie camera placed on top, and a home button below the display.

A back view of the device shows off edges with rounded corners. Contrary to the Galaxy S7 camera module, renders of the upcoming Galaxy A5 do not show the camera bump. Furthermore, if the leaked renders come to fruition, the top and bottom end of the Galaxy A5 (2017) will feature antenna bands.

The renders also suggest that the Galaxy A5 (2017) could sport USB Type-C port in order to facilitate faster data transfer and charging. Those wondering if Samsung will follow Apple's footstep and get rid of headphone jacks in their upcoming device's are in for a disappointment as the renders show off the headphone jack at the bottom of the smartphone.

The volume buttons are placed on the left edge of the panel to enable easy access, whereas the power button and speaker grill are seen on the right edge, just like on the recently released Galaxy On NXT.
