Margot Robbie is in final negotiations to reunite once more with her "Goodbye Christopher Robin" and "About Time" co-star Domhnall Gleeson on a new adaptation of Beatrix Potter's beloved children's story, "Peter Rabbit."

Gleeson along with James Corden, Daisy Ridley and Rose Byrne have already been cast in the live-action, hybrid adaptation of the children's story. The new "Peter Rabbit" movie is described as a modern interpretation of Potter's works, which focuses on the rivalry between mischievous young Peter Rabbit (played by Corden) and Mr McGregor (portrayed by Gleeson), a fed up man trying desperately to have a rabbit-free garden, according to RTE.

Moreover, details of Robbie's role are being under wraps, but it is known that the Australian actress will voice a bunny, while Gleeson and Byrne are said to be playing the live-action roles.

Aside from that, Will Gluck will be helming the motion picture and will also serve as the flick's producer, along with Animal Logic Entertainment's Zareh Nalbandian. Gluck also has been rectifying the latest draft of "Peter Rabbit's" script, which was penned by Rob Lieber. "The Grudge 2" film producer, Doug Belgrad, is co-financing and executive producing via his 2.0 Entertainment banner, Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Beatrix Potter's beloved character Peter Rabbit will be carried out by Columbia and Frederick Warne to a new family audience. Warne has been the publisher of Potter since its printing of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" in 1902, and is home to the Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter brands.

That being said, Robbie was most recently seen in Will Smith's "Suicide Squad" as Harley Quinn, Village Roadshow Pictures "The Legend of Tarzan," and the comedy-drama film "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot." She will also lend her voice to the forthcoming animated movie, "Larrikins," Variety reported.
