Avid gamers rejoice as Ubisoft is set to launch its new medieval game titled "For Honor," which boasts a never-before-seen fusion of Vikings, Knights and Samurai, all in one battlefield.

The much lauded game will show off an awe-inspiring set of environment brimming with grandeur of nature and magnificent scenery, according to the official website of the upcoming game.

"For Honor" will take place in what looks like an unceasing war caused due to an apocalyptic that resulted in almost all the civilization to drop down; thus, leading to the rise of warriors from across the world. The game centers on a battle royal between some of history's greatest fighters including Vikings, Knights and Samurai Warriors. Players can pick their side of warriors by selecting their clan: The Chosen, The Warborn, and The Legion. Fans who attended the recently held Indian Games Expo were treated to an exciting demo of the game's single-player campaign.

If the assessment of those who were able to try out the game is anything to go by, "For Honor" uses the color options very smartly. Moreover, the game is quite striking in terms of motion. It does not feature the shiny feel of "Ryse: Son of Rome." Instead, it adapts a more "worn" aesthetic, coupled with well-proportioned characters, Gadgets 360 reported.

This was further cemented by the recently released "For Honor" gameplay videos (shown below) that showcases breathtaking and some realistic scenes. In addition to this, the gameplay footages give players a sneak peek of some incredible action sequence and cut scenes.

Taking the gameplay videos as guide, it looks like the title will focus heavily on players' skill and timing. This is as a result of dodging and timed attacks becoming a key skill to learn to survive various missions and bosses.

"For Honor" was originally announced at the E3 2015 and was said to feature a hand-to-hand combat system dubbed as the "Art of Battle." The game is slated to hit the store shelves on Feb. 14, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and for Windows PC.
