For students, the best performing laptop out there is still the Mac and the Surface Pro is coming in at close second. This, however, is debatable since this is subject to personal opinion. As much as these are very good laptops, it is also a fact that they are pricey as well. What if you are on a budget? Here are three laptops that are easy on the pocket but still give you value for your money.

Asus E402SA

Also called the EeeBook E402SA, this laptop is equipped with a 14-inch screen and an Intel Celeron N3050 processor. It has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and armed with both a VGA and ethernet jacks. Its full-sized keyboard makes it much easier to type. However, the trackpad can be a disappointment which is not really a big deal. The best feature of this Asus laptop is its expandability, which is a good thing if you really need a bigger memory. The design and the battery life is also a plus feature in this laptop, and the best part is the price which is only $249.

Dell Inspiron 11 3000 (2016)

The Dell Inspiron is a beauty inside out as well as on your pocket. Priced at only $180, you have a laptop equipped with an Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core processor, HDMI, USB 3.0 slot, and a microSD slot. Compared to Asus, its trackpad is much better but the keyboard is a bit cramped so those with bigger fingers might have a hard time typing. All in all, the Dell Inspiron is a decent enough laptop for your schoolwork.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11

Equipped with the same processor and priced similarly as the Inspiron, the Acer Aspire laptop has two varieties: 16GB and 32GB. However, the 32GB one is the better choice because of the bigger storage. However, the 32GB is not a lot but you can have more memory with a USB drive. It is good enough for surfing and Microsoft Office-related projects. However, it might lag a few times when using other apps.
