For whatever reason, video game company Rockstar Games never seems to focus on PC, as gamers have witnessed it with every release of "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. With "Red Dead Redemption 2," the highly anticipated sequel the studio recently announced, the publisher only pitched in the support for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Though Rockstar didn't say anything about a PC version of the western action-adventure video game, but the publisher also didn't specifically say there wouldn't be a PC port. That is an essential point, in which, when Wedbush Security analyst Michael Pachter was asked for his thoughts on the matter, Pachter claims that the studio is likely to release the Red Dead Redemption sequel to PC at some point.

Based on Pachter's point of view, Rockstar Games has a history of bleeding out information with regards to their video games, a strategy Pachter says that works for the publisher as it keeps gamers interested, Hot Hardware reported.

Pachter remembered when Rockstar Games announced on November 2011 that GTA5 was for Xbox 360 and PS3 only, then after two and a half years, the studio announced that the open world action-adventure video game would be up for grabs on Xbox One and PS4. Several months later, the studio finally confirmed the video game for PC, which came out in 2015, according to Gaming Bolt.

That being the case, perhaps it will be a long time before video gamers know if Pacther is right in his prediction, it could be even several years. Even though gamers tend to agree that a PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is inevitable, in spite of the fact that the original video game was never released for PC.

However, considering how successful the PC release of "GTA5 "was, a number of gamers do think that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is coming to PC sooner or later.
