It's one of the few, but massive competition you can expect at the end of the year; the unending competition between giant tech companies. Microsoft and Apple are no stranger to this kind of competition and this year, they have the Surface Pro 5 and MacBook Pro 2016 to prove that.

Few weeks ago, news surrounding Microsoft's absence in the scene came right after rumors that Apple will hold an event in their Cupertino headquarters. With all the MacBook Pro 2016 rumors circulating online, it seemed like, the Surface Pro 5 was left on the sidelines, until Microsoft announced their upcoming event; just before Apple will hold theirs.

Both have not been keen on revealing some of the features of their latest innovations, but fans have their way of proving they can be right after all. Recent leaked information about the Surface Pro 5 is the upgraded Surface Pen that doesn't need charger. At least not in a stand alone mode type of charging. According to the reports, the Surface Pen automatically charges when the device is used to write on the Surface Pro 5. Clearly, the Surface Pen sets the device apart from the MacBook Pro 2016.

Meanwhile, few more choice specs for the Surface Pro 5 include a 4K display that is said to also include a 2K display variant. An Intel chipset, said to be powered by the Kaby lake processor is said to be the perfect match for the device's 16GB RAM. The keyboard cover of the Surface Pro 5 is also an integral part of the new feature.
