There's no doubt that Capcom is all set to release "Resident Evil 7" next year based on the second trailer released this week. However, the second trailer also made some significant revelation in terms of the game coming to the VR too.

The trailer, presented by RabidRetrospectGames, features a walkthrough of the game on a first-person manner, eerily puts players in the middle of an abandoned mansion. Not exactly what you consider a relaxing game, but we're talking about the "Resident Evil" series.

News about the "Resident Evil 7" says that the plot will surround the main character Nathan. Unlike in the previous versions of Resident Evil, Nathan is not a former soldier, but an ordinary person, meaning to save his wife from the dark secret of the mansion. His journey to find led her to the mansion full of chilling history and scenery.

A first walkthrough mission called, the "Stock Up" shows the player, gathering resources from inside the mansion. Using a reliable knife to open boxes and breakers, every single item collected will play a role in his quest to locate his wife.

Meanwhile, EXPRESS UK reported that the game not only suggests how to find the subject in "Resident Evil 7," but also how to save up resources in order to survive the game. The location features room after rooms and filthy bathrooms, kitchens and areas you quite miss on regular homes.

During the recent E3 event, game director Koshi Nakashini said that the first hour of the game (walkthrough) was purposely made to introduce players on the horror and exploration type of "Resident Evil 7."

In Nakashimi's statement, he said "Those are all in this game, but we wanted to start off with the first two - horror and exploration - and get you experiencing those two pillars up front. We're focusing up front about the message of horror coming home."

"Resident Evil" is scheduled to launch on the 24th of January 2017.
