An updated list of actresses contending for the role of Domino rose to 10, while director Tim Miller quits "Deadpool 2."

According to Collider, they learned from trusted sources that 4 more actresses are being screened for the role of Neena Thurman aka Domino for "Deadpool 2," in addition to the 6 other actresses namely Sienna Miller ("American Sniper"), Sofia Boutella ("Star Trek Beyond"), Kelly Rohrbach ("Baywatch"), Stephanie Sigman ("Spectre") and Sylvia Hoeks ("Overspel"). The other 4 actresses also being considered are Ruby Rose ("Orange Is the New Black"), Eve Hewson ("The Knick"), Mackenzie Davis ("Halt and Catch Fire"),  Mary Elizabeth Winstead ("10 Cloverfield Lane") and Lizzy Caplan ("Masters of Sex").

The film still has no established release date, and screening for the actresses mentioned is underway. Filming for "Deadpool 2" is aimed to commence in 2017, but the lack of an established date of release is considered a good sign. It signifies that the production is being given the opportunity to get the sequel right.

However, a snag might inadvertently delay production of "Deadpool 2" - it is missing a director. Deadline reported in an exclusive interview that Miller quit the production due to creative differences with star and producer Ryan Reynolds. Though the former has not formally signed to direct the sequel, he was part of developing the script and was expected to return. Studio sources say the parting was amicable.

According to The Wrap, when Reynolds' agents renegotiated his deal, the star got casting approval including other creative controls. Miller, having done work polishing the original "Deadpool" in his visual effects studio for free, wanted a more stylized sequel. The former, meanwhile, wanted more of the raunchy comedy style that garnered "Deadpool" its R rating.

Another issue cropped up when Miller wanted Kyle Chandler ("Bloodline") to play Cable in the sequel, while Reynolds did not and the studio decided to back him up.

The original "Deadpool" grossed $782 million worldwide on a $58 million budget. Miller was instrumental in that success when he leaked CGI test footage back in 2014 that sparked interest among fanboys, bringing the movie unprecedented commercial success.
