Samsung users have probably heard about the Android 7.0 Nougat, which is the latest upgrade that some of the tech company's devices are expected to receive. It is believed that the South Korean tech monster is now on the verge of rolling out the upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S6, S7 and the Note 5.

Android 7.0 Nougat was launched at the end of August as an OTA upgrade, in which the update has been rolling out gradually to Google's Pixel devices. However, there are many other tech companies out there that produce Android-based devices like Samsung or Sony that are working on bringing the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade to their newest devices, Neuro Gadget has learned.

If users own one of the aforementioned Samsung gadgets, this is what they need to do when receiving the upgrade notification. First, they must backup their data before downloading and installing the Android 7.0 Nougat update, and they will do so by copying their files on a PC. Then, follow all of the instructions and prompts encountered during the installation.

Meanwhile, it's quite possible that Samsung Galaxy S6, S7 and the Note 5 won't be the only Samsung devices that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. It has been said that many other new generation devices from the tech company will get the update as well.

Furthermore, the devices that are not quite sure will get the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade are the Samsung Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge as these Samsung gadgets have recently upgraded to Android Marshmallow.

That being said, Samsung isn't saying much about the Android 7.0 Nougat update, as the tech giant is still rolling out the Android Marshmallow operating system to certain compatible devices, Mobi Picker has learned.
