Samsung has introduced the Galaxy On Nxt, an all-rounder midranger that appears to be a rebranded version of the current Galaxy On7.

Indian e-retailer Flipkart listed the Galaxy On Nxt on its website on Thursday, Oct. 20, with a price tag of Rs. 18,490 (about $276). Despite the fact that the smarphone is now launched, surprisingly, the listing on the phone still says "Coming Soon," according to The Indian Express.

The Flipkart-exclusive smartphone sports a full metal unibody and sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass.

The device packs a powerful 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with an ARM Mali T830 MP1 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 256GB. In terms of cameras, the On Nxt sports a 13MP rear camera equipped with f/1.9 aperture, and an 8MP selfie cam, GSM Arena reported.

Other camera features on the phone include Wide Selfie, Sound and Shot, Sports, Selfie, Pro, Panorama, Night, Interval Shot, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Continuous Shot, Beauty Face and Auto. Furthermore, the phone packs a robust 3300 mAh Li-ion battery. Samsung Galaxy On Nxt also features the company's own S Secure system that enable users to hide or lock apps.

Moreover, the smartphone features a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button, and dual SIM and microSD card slots. The device is LTE (Cat 4) compatible, and in terms of connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Glonass and GPS but there's no NFC though.

Wired connectivity section lists microUSB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also features accelerometer and proximity sensors. Samsung's Galaxy On Nxt measures 151.7 x 75.0 x 8.0mm and weighs in at 167g.

Samsung India recently announced that it will be making all impending launches of phones that are 4G capable. Through this, the South Korean handset maker expects to gain a bigger market share in the country.
