There will be a Windows 10 press event on Oct. 26, which will be hosted for more announcements than hardware revelations. Possible announcements may be about the Surface All-In-One, Home Hub Plus Surface 4, and Windows 10 update.

One of the possible items to be discussed in the event is the Redstone 2 update for Windows 10. Microsoft may give full details on the update by the time of the event, since only minor tweaks and enhancements were so far revealed. The possible release date for Redstone 2 may also be announced, as well as their next major 2017 update called Redstone 3.

Surface All-In-One is a product aimed at transforming your desk into a studio, wherein the device will have detachable monitor, printing support, and separate modular add-on components. Its Surface Keyboard and Surface Mouse will also likely be revealed at the event, Windows Central reported.

Microsoft will also reportedly unveil its Amazon Echo competitor, which is the Home Hub powered by Cortana. This smart speaker can be activated through voice, and can be used to ask questions, set reminders, and give commands for home appliances, Indian Express reported.

Kaby Lake might also be considered as a processor upgrade for the Surface line, but this is just an assumption due to a lack of confirmation from Microsoft. Another possible announcement, which might be made on the event, is the transferring of Old Win32 games and apps into the Windows Store through the Project Centennial app-bridge. Microsoft may also be announcing its new team collaboration service called "Skype Teams."

On the other hand, these are the topics which will not be discussed during the event - as for the Surface Phone, Microsoft will not be making any announcements on a new mobile hardware. Band 3 was already developed but this was just recently canceled. Project Scorpio is not expected to be featured in this year's event, since Microsoft will have to keep anything about the Xbox to E3 2017.
