Samsung is gearing up to launch a brand new Chromebook, which is dubbed as Chromebook Pro. The gadget went on sale online even before its official announcement. Although the listing has since been taken down, some significant details about the device were obtained.

Despite coming under fire from tech gurus and critics alike for the recent passing of their highly explosive phablet, the Galaxy Note 7, the South Korean tech firm is all set to dish out their very own Chromebook one more time. There are rumors indicating that the Chromebook Pro is slated to hit the store shelves anytime soon, and this was further confirmed by spy shots of the gadget that have been surfacing on several tech websites recently, GSM Arena reported

Keen observers, who spotted Samsung's upcoming notebook on a certain online store before the company removed the listing from the website, were able to get a glimpse of its specs. According to these observers, Samsung's latest offering will come with a hexa-core chipset.

In addition, reports claim that the Chromebook Pro will pack at least 4GB of random access memory (RAM), coupled with a huge 32GB of built-in memory. Other rumored features of the notebook includes a 12.3-inch multi-touch screen with hinges that allows its display to be rotated up to 360 degrees.

Moreover, the device will feature a slew of other components, including an SD card port, USB Type-C hubs, a robust battery pack that lasts for 10 hours, and a stylus similar to the one that came with the controversy plagued Galaxy Note 7. According to the posting made on Adorama, consumers can get their hands on the new Chromebook Pro for about $500.

However, Samsung continues to remain mum regarding the recent posting and have neither confirmed nor denied the leaked photos that are doing rounds online. Readers are therefore advised to take these rumors with a huge grain of salt until the South Korean company makes an official announcement.
