The open world action-adventure video game "Grand Theft Auto 6" is speculated to be a real-time sensation with its expected range of features. In spite of that, this might prove to be costly for the game's publisher Rockstar Games.

The development of "Grand Theft Auto VI" is reportedly suspended indefinitely. Speculations are springing one after the other that this could be because the cost of the action-adventure video game is too much for Rockstar Games, according to Frag Hero.

Rumor has it that "GTA 6" will cost the video game company about $500 million because Rockstar Games planned to include VR support for the video game. With that, the cost of development is twice as much from "GTA 5," which is worth $250 million. However, "GTA 5's" revenue is currently estimated to be about $1 billion, GTA6 Grand Theft Auto reported.

Having said that, "Grand Theft Auto 5," which is the first main entry in the GTA series since 2008's "Grand Theft Auto 4," is a huge success, which is the reason why a number of gamers are anticipating for a new GTA game.

One reason that the "GTA 5" video game is successful is because the video game developer made big investments for programmers to keep the game updated and fresh. Although the video game company is making huge amounts of money from it, it may not be adequate for the completion of "Grand Theft Auto VI" as of this moment, Neuro Gadget has learned.

As for the release date of "GTA 6," it is possible that the video game will be delayed for another two years. Usually, a new sequel in the GTA series is released after five years, which means "GTA 6" will roll out by 2018; however, because of the game's VR feature, the game would probably be out by the year 2020.
