Aside from traditional battles, side missions, story mode, Expert Missions, parallel quests and Master Quests, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is expected to feature what are dubbed as Raid Quests.

Bandai Namco has remained mum and has neither confirmed nor denied this type of mission. However, game developer Dimps implemented the said mission in the beta this past weekend.

According to Raid Quests' description in the beta, every player in Conton City is a participant in these events. Players should work together as a team in order to achieve the objectives within the stipulated time. They should bear in mind that Raid Quests can only be accessed when connected to the XENOVERSE server. Moreover, upcoming Raid Quests will be announced in Conton City. Players can check the News Board in the Reception Area for more details.

Based on the aforesaid description, it looks like Raid Quests are team-based battles that depend on all of the Time Patrollers. Furthermore, these are time-limited events, meaning they only occur at times specified either by Bandai Namco or Dimps. So the blue sphere or dimension portal that is seen in the sky and the Resort District (shown in the video below) will not always be there, according to SaiyanIsland.

Six players can take part in a single Raid Quest lobby, just like in Expert Missions. There can be multiple Raid Quest lobbies. But, unlike Expert Missions, the results of these multiple Raid Quest lobbies are likely to contribute to the overall outcome of the Raid Quest.

In other news, Bandai Namco has decided to extend the "Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2" open beta, according to PushSquare.

The test was originally slated to end Monday, Oct. 17, but it was extended to close on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 09:00AM BST / 10:00AM CEST. However, it's worth noting that the beta can no longer be downloaded. Basically, only players who have already got their hands on the beta from the PlayStation Store will be able to play.
