NVIDIA, tagged as one of the tech world's best graphics processing chip makers, is expected to release the midrange graphic processing chip GeForce GTX 1050 Ti that promises superior quality at a budget price. Through a leaked source, benchmarks for the new chipset will offer better performance and efficiency figures that is seen to be good on 1080p monitors for gamers.

Replacing the GM206 and GM107 based GTX 950 and GTX 750 Ti, the Pascal-based card features 768 CUDA Cores, packing with 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs, WCCFTech reported. The chip is clocked at 1318 MHz core and 1392 MHz boost frequency, which is just around a 250 MHz jump over the GM107 GPU. The texture fill rate of the chip goes up to 84 GTexel/s (almost twice of GM107).

In addition, the card that has been leaked is a custom model that features a dual slot cooling solution and a 6-Pin power connector. One of the great things about GP107 is its 75W TDP. AIBs can modify a feature of extra power connections for increased stability and overclockability.

With regard to the benchmarking performance results, the overclocked GTX 1050 Ti scored 1,895 points on Firestrike Ultra, while a test on Time Spy game is 2,513 points, Tech Radar reported. Overall, the score is generally higher compared to other custom models of GTX 960 and AMD Radeon R9 380 video graphics cards.

The said chipset is then suggested to provide a better gaming experience than the stock model that could generally be appealing to gamers and PC enthusiast who are on a controlled budget.

Meanwhile, the stock GTX 1050 Ti is assumed to carry the GP 107 GPU core, 1,290 /1,392 MHz base and boosted clock speeds, wherein it will be able to provide up to 2.1 TFLOPS of computing power. Several display ports should also contain in the chipset, such as three Display Port 1.4, a single HDMI 2.0b and a one DVI.

The NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti is expected to be released on Oct. 18, and it could carry a $149 retail price tag. On the other hand, the GTX 1050 could be released on Oct. 26 at around $119.
