If there's one advantage Mark Zuckerberg has over world leaders, it would be his familiarity with technology, especially virtual reality. In fact, he revealed during his talk at the Oculus VR's developer conference that he often gives them a crash course on what virtual reality is every time they drop by at the Facebook headquarters.

Zuckerberg says that it is a common occurrence at the Facebook headquarters to have a world leader as one of their visitors because they want to find out if there is something interesting cooking up at Facebook. According to him, this gives him the opportunity to be the first person to show them what virtual reality is. He added that it is one of the most fun things about his job.

He also added that the things he showed depend on who the world leader is and the kind of culture he has. For example, he invited one of the leaders to play a first-person shooting game with him. There are also leaders who got so enamored with the game and demand that he be shown the dinosaur refusing demands from his security team for him to get on the plane for boarding.

Zuckerberg's short anecdote about his world leaders encounters show that virtual reality holds a sense of wonder to anyone no matter who they are and what their position is.
Aside from meeting world leaders and educating them about virtual reality, Zuckerberg also announced during the conference that he is going to invest another $250 million in developing more content for virtual reality applications. With the added investment, he hopes to streamline his vision of the future where people can easily connect with each other using VR technology.

"We should [all] build software and experiences that follow the way our minds work and the way we process the world," he said.
