Taika Waititi, the New Zealand director of "Thor: Ragnarok," regularly updates fans of the Marvel character by posting pictures of the set on his Instagram account. One post showed that he used a five-camera setup for a particular scene, although, he didn't elaborate what scene it was for.

According to Slashfilm, Waititi posted another clue on his Instagram account and it featured a familiar character, at least it's familiar to those die-hard fans of the films and comic books.

Waititi's latest post suggested that "Korg," a giant humanoid with rocks as skin, may be in the upcoming film and fans of the series are excited to see the huge warrior go up against the god of thunder.

In Waititi's post he featured the Korg synthesizer with only a partial shot of the popular electronic keyboard displayed on his Instagram account. Waititi was a bit cheeky with his post suggesting that Korg might be or might not be in the upcoming sequel. But most fans of the films are confident that the giant rock warrior will make an appearance in the third installment, especially when so many characters have already made it to the story.

One of the characters who have joined the film is "Skurge the Executioner," played by Karl Urban. Urban, who is also a native of New Zealand, posted on Twitter that he has recently finished filming his scenes for the movie.

According to Comic Book Movie, Urban started filming his scenes in Australia on July 4 and his post on September 30 indicated that he finally finished all of his scenes. Urban's character is an Asgardian warrior but with an evil side. He didn't say if his role in the film will be that of a villain but seeing that that is how Skurge is portrayed in the comic books it's likely that he'll end up as one of Thor's enemies.
