Google 'Nexus' Phones, Pixel and Pixel XL, won't arrive alone. There will be Google's Daydream VR and a new OS. Here's what you can expect!

It's not even close to new year but the tech-crowd counts down to Pixel and Pixel XL released at Google 'Pixel Phone' event.

Google Pixel Phone October Event: Pixel and Pixel XL

One thing that's definitely going to steal the show, is the Nexus Phone series. Google Pixel phones have become the hype for awhile and in the past few months, we have heard rumors and rants.

Hence, it may not be a surprise if the Pixel and Pixel XL come out with 5 inch and 5.5 inch displays, Snapdragon 821 processor and a spacious RAM of 4 GB. The Pixel will sport 1080p display whilst the larger sibling will get quad HD display and 12 MP camera, the Verge added.

The HTC-built Nexus phones will basically be encased in aluminum unibody, with fingerprint scanner possibly at the back panel. The premium handset could be priced at $649.

Google Pixel Phone October Event: The hybrid OS Andromeda

Google is expected to show off a new operating system, codenamed Andromeda, Mashable reported. This OS is a hybrid system that merges Android and Chrome OS. Android's CEO, Hiroshi Lockheimer took Twitter to update his followers regarding the rumored Andromeda.

Google Pixel Phone October Event: Daydream VR

The much-anticipated device, Daydream VR, should be unveiled in October 4^th event. The VR platform will be compatible with new smartphones. Hence, it can be argued that Pixel phones are the first handsets to be compatible with the gear.

Meanwhile, a new leak has become viral as Bell Canada 'accidentally' place Google Pixel phones pre-order in their website, Pocket-Lint reported. If this is to be considered as an indication, this means that Pixel and Pixel XL will be made available not only in Google Store. The Canadian's carrier website has taken down the pre-order page, CustomPCreview noted.
