"Teen Wolf" Season 6 will be the show's final run, which is why the cast, crew and its fans couldn't help but feel weepy about parting ways. In a recent interview, lead star Tyler Posey teased that the sixth outing will be "dark" and "emotional."

In "Teen Wolf" Season 6, Scott McCall and his pack are facing the Ghost Riders, wherein these saddled up creatures are part of the Wild Hunt mythology that was first introduced in season 5. "The idea is that the Wild Hunt passes through your town and if you see the Ghost Riders, they'll take you with them and make you part of the hunt," EW quoted showrunner Jeff Davis as saying.

The Ghost Riders have been recruiting for who knows how long, meaning they have an unlimited number of members. The scary part, however, is that each member has a particular talent and skill that is unique to them.

Because the damage the Ghost Riders cause is more emotional than physical, it makes them an even worse threat. In the trailer, it is teased that Beacon Hills is facing something worse than death. In the case of the Ghost Riders attack, getting erased from reality is most certainly worse than death. Anyone captured by the Ghost Riders do not necessarily die as they just roam around for eternity on a hunt that never ends.

One of the speculated victims of the Ghost Riders is Dylan O'Brien's Stiles. In the trailer, it appeared as though his friends and family were slowly starting to forget who he is. Davis previously confirmed that Stiles is a big part of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, mainly because the "mystery revolves around him."

The depth of Scott and Stiles friendship is going to be realized in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, and fans are going to see why he's Scott's best friend.

Posey told Teen Vogue that he helped on the storyline for "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which he hopes is going to be "somewhat dark." He added, "I know we go dark a lot, but I hope it will be mentally and emotionally dark. I hope that's the tone we go for."

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premieres on MTV this fall.
