The newest leak of Galaxy S8 sounds too good to be true, but remember, it is Samsung - and the company has done wonderful things with its flagships so far.

Samsung Galaxy S8 specifications have been leaked

A recent leak from the Chinese website, Weibo, seems to confirm the rumors that swirl around Galaxy S8 specifications. If rumors are to be believed, it is going to be a powerful beast. Softpedia has posted an image of the alleged specs.

Based on the leak, the Galaxy S7 successor sports a whopping pair of optics - 30 MP rear camera and 9 MP front camera. The camera department is highly likely to feature OIS for steady shots and laser autofocus, too.

Judging from the leak, if the camera is 30 MP, it won't be using Snapdragon 820 since it only supports 25 MP image quality. Hence, the speculation predicts a higher version of chipset that Samsung might set for the iteration. A deca-core, Snapdragon Qualcomm processor could be placed under the hood of the smartphone.

The leaked specification seems to ditch the rumor from PocketNow, which stated that an Exynos chipset - the most scalable GPU to date - will be used in the Galaxy S8. With that being said, Galaxy S fans should expect a Snapdragon 830 processor which will allow a much improved, ultrafast performance.

A whopping battery of 4,200 mAh, Bluetooth 5.0 and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass should also be expected to come with Galaxy S8.  Aside from the latest Android OS - the Samsung upcoming flagship could have 64 GB or 128 GB storage.

And last but not least, Galaxy S8 could come with 4K display for immersive VR experience, Latintimes reported. In addition to the new leak, previous rumors include features such as smart glow, iris and fingerprint scanner, and wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S8 release date remains unknown but fans should expect an early release at MWC 2017.
