October is just around the corner and Google is on the final stages of preparation for the launching of the rebranded Google Nexus 2016phones. The most talked-about Google Nexus 2016 phones or Pixel phones are believe to possess the five (5) great features of android that Apple might want to steal for the next iPhone models.

Apple is always on top of the line when talking about great features of smartphones. As a result, Android has been treated as an alternative for the Cupertino-based products and sometimes dubbed as cheaper phones. However, not everybody knew that android has 8 great features that Apple might want to steal for the upcoming iPhone 8. These features are expected to be seen in the upcoming Google Nexus 2016 or Pixel X and Pixel XL phones set to be released in October 4 as confirmed by Google according to PC Advisor.

Automatic battery-saver mode

Pixel phones are expected to have an auto battery-saver mode where the phone automatically turns on the low-power mode once the battery meter reach the critical level. Alongside this feature is the turning off of background app activity, e-mail fetching and other battery-consuming activities. In iOS, the user needs to turn on the low-power mode manually.

Installation of Apps Directly from the Web

While iPhone relies on App Store for the installation of apps, Google Pixel phones and other Android-powered devices can directly install apps from the web version of Google Play app store according to PC World.

Split-Screen (Multitasking)

One of the great features of Android 7.0 or Nougat is the ability to show two apps at the same time. In addition, there's an android multitasking button located in the screen that when double-tap, the phone will let the user go back to the previous app he's working on.

Visible Shortcut keys for number and symbol

One clever feature of Google Pixel phones keyboard is the ability to display hints of number and symbols in every key. Users need not to press the symbol or number key. They just have to do a long press on the corresponding key where the number and symbol are embedded.

Turn on Do Not Disturb for a specific period of time

This upcoming feature of Google Pixel phones works best when someone needs a quiet time for himself. The Do Not Disturb mode can be set for a specific period of time like for example if someone wants to be alone for one hour, it is now possible.
