A new survey has revealed that video gamers spend the most time gaming on the Xbox One, but most individuals who still own the last-gen consoles still want a PlayStation 4, and PC gaming still reigns them all.

As presented by the Global Web Index, Xbox One gamers and Wii U is in the lead, with a daily average of 2:26 hours to 2:27 hours spent gaming. Followed by PS4 gamers, who come in at an average of 2:15 hours, based on the report of Windows Central.

The Global Web Index, which is a market research firm, interviewed over 50,000 internet users with ages that ranges from 16 to 64 years old, across 34 markets, which includes North America, South America, Europe, as well as Africa and Asia.

The survey made it known that most individuals are gaming on PC or mobile gadgets, but older internet users prefer to use their PC rather than a smartphone, according to Game Zone.

However, as console gaming goes, 3 out of 10 people are gaming on a console, most of which are likely using the last-gen consoles. If those numbers of gamers were to upgrade, they tend to choose a PlayStation 4.

So, while the PlayStation 4 might be the most desired console for last-gen users, the Xbox One universe is the one that spends the most time gaming.

On the other hand, AirServer, makers of the most advanced screen mirroring software receiver for PC and Mac, made known the availability of AirServer for the Xbox One. That means that a person can transmit their AirPlay screens to their gaming console.

Air Server also lets a person channel through Google Cast and Miracast. The software is now up for grabs for $9.99 and transforms a person's Xbox into a high performance AirPlay receiver. This means iOS or MacOS screens can transmit to a person's Xbox, Tech Crunch reported.
