After months of speculations about the Samsung's Galaxy J-series flagship, the company finally released the latest model in India. Both the Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime have been launched.

The rumored Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is merely an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 w2hich was out in the market earlier. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display screen with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It also sports  a 2.5 D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs at a powerful speed of  1.6 GHz with octa-core processor and equiped with  3GB RAM configuration. The phone has an internal memory of  16 GB and can support and external  microSD card with up to 256 GB memory. The phone can also has a dual sim support, The Economic Times reported.

The phone's primary camera sports a 13 megapixel sensor which is also equipped with a LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, HDR,  panorama and face detection. The phone is also equipped with an 8 MP camera. Additionally, the main camera can record 1080p videos. The Samsung Galaxy  J7 Prime also comes with a mircoUSB 2.0 and a USB on-the-go which allows faster charcgeing and data transfer. In terms of wireless connectivity, the J7 Prime supports Wi-Fi connection and is also equipped with GPS and Bluetooth 4.1, according to Neurogdget.

The phone has a non-removable battery with a capacity of 3,300 mAh. When the battery is getting low, users can use the S Power Planning feature to lessen the battery use and stay alive for a bit longer. Furthermore, the device sports   S Secure feature which Galaxy J7 Prime owners can use to hide sensitive materials and important data.

The new Samsung Galaxy J7 is run by  Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The phone can be bought in India for 18,790 Rs. which is about 250 US dollars.
