In the history of mobile gaming, the augmented reality game "Pokemon Go" has now amassed over 500 million downloads more quickly compared to any other app. Despite the majority of its daily active users are losing, "Pokemon Go" is still the top grossing app across iOS and Android platforms.

So, the mobile game company Niantic plans to keep "Pokemon Go's" momentum up in the weeks, months and years to come, based on the report of BGR.

Niantic CEO John Hanke sat down and discuss the entire transcript of the plan. CEO Hanke talked about a myriad of topics, Hanke discussed his team allegiance (Instinct), as well as the development team would have been ready if it had known that the augmented reality game would be downloaded hundreds of millions of times, according to Venture Beat.

Niantic CEO was asked about player-versus-player Pokemon battles, which the tech company hasn't spent much time discussing since the video game launched. Hanke stated that battling is something they discuss a lot about. The feature will probably make its way onto the road map, but CEO Hanke doesn't have a specific date for it yet.

CEO Hanke was also asked about what "Pokemon Go" might seem to be a year from now. Hanke pointed out that if people want to predict the future, they must look at the past.

A lot of what individuals are doing with "Pokémon Go" they learned through three years of collaborating with the massively multiplayer online game "Ingress," as they build up the online game around the globe, developing the technology, and the social aspect of it. CEO Hanke added that the events for Ingress are the lifeblood of the video game. Hanke thinks gamers can expect to see that in "Pokémon Go."

On the other hand, it's understandable that gamers want to play "Pokemon Go" all of the time. But, people should stop playing "Pokemon Go" while driving, because it is very dangerous, Bustle reported.
