The remastered versions of "Bioshock" have just been released by 2K. "Bioshock :The Collection" is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

While fans are still waiting for a new entry for the "Bioshock" series, 2K released the remastered versions of "Bioshock", "Bioshock 2", and "Bioshock Infinite".  All these three games are in one package named "Bioshock:  The Collection". The package was launched on September 13 while its PC version followed two days later (September 15), Gamespot reported.

The whole package costs 60 US dollars. It includes all the single  player downloadable contents from all three games. Additionally, it comes with a video commentary from the director, Ken Levine, and lead artist Shawn Robertson.

While the "Bioshock: The Collection" for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles include three remastered games, its PC version only gets the two original games.  The "Bioshock Infinite" on PC will be  a regular non-remastered version. Nevertheless, it would still be on par with the readily available version.

The launched trailer released for game package shows a montage of clips from all three games. There are also voice-overs which sound like the voice of Atlas and Andrew Ryan from the original game. Additionally, Elizabeth and Booker from third installment (Infinite) also talks in the background. The clips were cut and compiled together with some ominous sounding classical music just before the action begins, International Business Times reported.

The trailer also visits all the significant areas in the game. It dives deep for the underwater view of Rapture. Also, the view flies up to see the floating city of Columbia.

For those who owns PC versions of the first two games, the release of the remastered version was a gift since it will come as a free upgrade. The first two games from the series would  automatically be upgraded from its PC versions. However, the Bioshock Infinite will not come since it does not have a remastered version for the PC platform.
