Capcom has come out with a set of new images for its upcoming survival horror video game dubbed as, "Resident Evil 7" that offered a glimpse of the eerie characters that players are likely to encounter in the game.

But that's not all! The game developer has also unveiled the bonus item sets that those who pre-order the game can get their hands on.

Zealous players of Capcom's first person shooter game have been waiting with bated breath for the gaming title's next installment, "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard." The wait could be finally over in a few months as the game has been slated to hit the store shelves early next year; although Capcom recently announced its exclusive set of pre-order in-game bonuses.

The pre-order announcement has been made public via a tweet from the game's official Twitter account.

The images shared in the aforesaid Twitter message teased five survival packs that several gamers may revel in. One of the packs come with a burner set that has cans of flammable gas.

In its Twitter message, the game developer announced that it has scrapped micro-transactions from the looming game title.

Gaming companies usually use micro-transactions to lure players to buy in-game items to level up at a faster rate. If rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, Capcom is gearing up to eliminate the said feature from the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" game.

In addition to the pre-order in-game bonuses, Capcom has also released a couple of new images for the impending game. The images acquired by Gematsu were unveiled via the "Resident Evil" ambassador program.

One of the pictures showed a dimly lit room while the other image featured a gory family picture.

The said picture discloses three game characters in what looks like a dining room where a feast of intestines has been served on the table. Game character Jack enjoys the dinner with a man in a hoodie and Marguerite.

It can be recalled that Jack made an appearance in the game's "Beginning Hour" demo while Marguerite featured in the "Lantern" demo. There's a possibility that the man donning a hoodie may be Lucas, son of Jack and Marguerite, GameRadar reported.

"Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" is slated to hit the store shelves next year on January 24 for PS4, PSVR, Xbox One and PC consoles.
