Looks like a good news for the PS4 and the PS Vita portable fans as Sony took the wraps off some new gaming gear in Japan including the PS4 "Final Fantasy XV" Luna Edition.

The special edition PS4 is slated to hit the store shelves in limited quantities on November 29, and its MSRP will be 39,980 yen, which converts to about $388.

The special console has a moon design on the packaging, in addition to sporting the moon print on the glossy black surface of the game console itself, SlashGear reported.

Aside from the aforementioned moon design, names of the four characters in the game are also printed on the console in gold lettering. The most notable aspect of the moon print is that it will change expression based on the angle it is viewed from, per Sony.

The recently unveiled special edition console ships with a Dualshock 4 wireless controller. For avid gamers who already own a PS4, the Japanese tech giant is also offering a couple of brand new colors for PS Vita portable. Japan is slated to receive the Metallic Red and Silver variants on December 1 and the new colors will come with a price tag of 18,980 yen (about $184).

Both colors are Wi-Fi models of the handheld system in the PCH-2000 series. Gamers can pre-order the new portable consoles on October 6.

Sony also noted that it has sold more than a million copies of Minecraft: PS Vita Edition. While the silver PS Vita is PCH-2000ZA25, the metallic red is PCH-2000ZA26.

In other news, Square Enix has rolled out a new "Final Fantasy XV" trailer that centers on the characters rather than showing off more action, PlayStationLifestyle reported.

The new trailer was revealed during Sony's TGS 2016. Watch the recently released trailer and share your thoughts in the comment section below!
