While other Apple devices are set for release this year, the iPad Pro 2 will not be making its debut until 2017. A respectable analyst at KGI Securities outlined expectations  which includes upgrades on the display technology. The  Apple Pencil is also expected to have an upgrade.

Ming Chi-Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, said that Apple is aiming  to release a new iPad Pro  next year. He noted that the tech giant would release three iPad Pro variants. One variant would be the 12.9-inch tablet, iPad Pro 2. Another would be the 9.7-inch iPad model which is believed to be "low-cost".  Kuo also said that Apple's plan is to release a variant of iPad Pro with 10.5 inches screen, MacRumors reported.

Furthermore, Kuo predicted that there will be "revolutionary changes" in the iPad for at least 2018. The changes would include  design and display technology which woul be shifted to AMOLED display. Also, he predicted that shipments of the tablets would decline because of the general trend in the market of tablets -even with updated models.

Another upgrade would be on the Apple Pencil. The accessory would be worth the wait since it would feature a state-of-the-art technology which is designed for professionals. The Pencil could be used as a drawing and writing stylus. Allegedly, Apple would upgrade the Pencil so that users of the iPad Pro 2 will be able to annotate objects in some of the Tablet's application such as iMessage, Mail and even the Safari Browser, Yibada reported.

The current technology of the Apple Pencil allows annotation but can only be used in some specific applications. This time, however, the company aims to make it a full-pledged feature on the iOS 10.

In other news, iPad Pro 2 is said to have a faster display  to make it a smoother  zooming, scrolling and panning.
