At Tokyo Game Show 2016, details about the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" will be revealed through a new playable demo. There are also leaked images showing the new main protagonist named Ethan. In addition, developers revealed a new set of zombie-like enemies that would be in the upcoming game.

Capcom revealed a new playable demo for their upcoming  sequel in the "Resident Evil" franchise. The were also leaked images showing the faces of some characters in the game. In the images, a blonde woman can be seen. There are also other images showing the face and features of the rumored new protagonist. A man in a clean haircut can be seen. There is also another character in a long mallet haircut who would also be appearing in the upcoming game. The images are posted in IGN Japan.

According to a synopsis by ESRB reported earlier, the new protagonist named Ethan is a weaker character compared to the powerful characters in the "Resident Evil" series. The synopsis also contained warnings about the game's violence, language and adult content.

Developers also mentioned something about the enemies in the upcoming "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard". They said that there would be "zombie-like" creatures which players would encounter in-game. However, the description is a but vague and fans are left speculating about what the enemies would be like. Furthermore, the game's developers mentioned about a "humanoid" type of enemy in addition to the previously described foes, Gamerant reported.

Meanwhile, a major change in the game would happen. The "Resident Evil" sequel would shift from the traditional third person view to a first-person perspective. In addition, the combat is also reduced significantly since the new protagonist is not a very powerful character. In addition, some major characters such as Leon S. Kennedy will not be included in the game.

The game is now available for pre-orders but will be officially released on January 24, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and Xbox One. Watch the "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" trailer below:
