Lenovo is targeting low-end markets with its new Lenovo A6600. The smartphone is now being prepared for release. It is rumored to have been released discreetly in the markets of India through offline retailers.

The Lenovo A6600 is a low-end smartphone device powered by Mediatek's MT6735P. It will have a quad-core processor that runs up to 1GHz. The device will also sport a 5-inch high definition display. Its RAM configuration is 1 GB and the internal memory is up to 16 GB and still expandable. The battery has 2,300 mAh capacity. It also packs  a good quality camera which is eight mega pixels at the rear and two mega pixels up front, according to GSM Arena.

The device can also support  16 GB memory capacity SD card. The phone will have two SIM card slots which can be a 4G and a VoLTE. The smartphone can be bought from Indian offline stores at a price of 6,999 Indian Rupees which is about 105 US dollars. Despite the official tag, some retailers sell the phone for as low as 6,000 INR which is about $100.

Lenovo A6600 comes with pre-installed apps which is developed by the company. Apps available in the phone includes Sync It, Share It, SNAPit camera, and SEEit gallery. The device is also equipped with Stock Google UI to give users a smooth android experience.

In addition to the A6600, the chinese phone company also releases two more smartphones namely, Lenovo Zuk Z2 and Lenovo Z2 Plus. The Zuk Z2 features a 5-inch display (full HD) and is equipped with anti-fingerprint and anti-oil protection on the screens to minimize smudges. The Zuk Z2 also sports  a 64-bit Snapdragon processor. It has 4 GB RAM configuration. In terms of camera, the Zuk Z2 has 13 MP back camera and 8 MP up front which enables it to take slow-motion videos that records at a speed of 960 frames per second, Game n Guide reported.

The Zuk Z2 and Lenovo Z2 Plus was launched in China last May and will also be released in India. This target marketing strategy is being used by the company to market their low-end smartphones.
