The two "Google Nexus 2016 phones" with codenames Sailfish and Marlin are expected to have its debut appearance this October and will be called Pixel and Pixel C which will be manufactured by HTC. Both devices are expected to have the never-before features of an Android including the Android/Chrome OS dual-booting. Will Pixel and Pixel C surpass the performance of the best Nexus Phone in 2015 the Nexus 6P?  

For the very first time, Google will be releasing its very own brand of mobile devices in the expense of Nexus. Know Your Mobile reported that Google has just recently killed off its Nexus brands to give way to the upcoming Pixel and Pixel C handsets packed with never-before features including the dual-booting for Android and Chrome OS.

Furthermore, aside from being the first ever dual-booting phone, the "Nexus 2016" phones are said to be partnered with nearby peripherals such as keyboards, HDTVs and the likes. Know Your Mobile also revealed that Google is working something for Chrome OS project.

 In addition of the specs, Tech Radar revealed some of it in their reports. Accordingly, the two Google Nexus 2016 phones rear camera were built with a Sony IM378 sensor (with 12MP resolution) and IMX179 (with 8MP resolution) for the front for quality selfies. Also, the report claimed that the newest HTC Pixel brands will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Another report from Know Your Mobile claimed that Google will be very keen in impressing that the newest phones are GOOGLE phones and not HTC ones. Also, they are rumored to have been working out on their Android as well just like Samsung and Huawei who were thinking outside the Android ecosystem.

The two "Google Nexus 2016 phones" are expected to hit the shelves come October 2016. Aside from HTC Pixel, Google is also planning to launch its VR Daydream Headset and Google Home. Launching of 4K Chromecast remains unconfirmed.
