The anti-cheat system of Pokemon GO has been implemented by its developer for a while now however it doesn't sound good to all players most especially those with disabilities. With its desire to prevent shutting out people with disabilities from major cultural phenomena, could it be true that Niantic has removed GPS spoofing from the anti-cheat system and considered them legal?

Motherboard interviewed Pokemon GO player who happens to be a person with disability. Her name is Ana Mardoll, an avid player who just bid farewell to her Pokemon GO account due to the permanent banned she got from using GPS spoofing using android emulator. Being a scoliosis patient, Ana has found it difficult to play Pokemon GO without tweaking her GPS location due to disability. Because of that, she suggested having the GPS spoofing legal but Niantic should put a limitation or disallowed players who have been flagged for taking advantage of it while doing battles for the gyms.

However, despite having difficulties, Ana revealed that she understood Niantic's point of eliminating cheating through the use of anti-cheat system. But there are things she wished to suggest to the game's developer. In her list, she mentioned that Pokemon GO should come with a keypad that mimics the act of walking around. Second, she suggested removing the localization so that all Pokemon will show up.

If this plea will be granted, Niantic should be careful with their logic this time most especially when it comes to accessibility. There's no question in Niantic granting the request of players with special needs as it is evident in their latest added feature called Buddy System as reported by PC Mag.

Until now, features like Player vs Player and Pokemon Trading are on the queue for possible addition in the game. Meanwhile, players like Ana who splurged money for the latest game craze have to wait for the new features or create another account.
