A nostalgic childhood memory is coming back soon! "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" is a movie adaptation of the "Power Rangers" TV series. Fans are now asking whether the original cast of the once famous TV series will be seen on the big screen.

One of the original casts of the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" appeared on a podcast in Audibly Exclusive. And opened up about the original cast getting cameo appearance in the upcoming adaptation of the nostalgic "Power Ranger" movie.

Walter Jones played the role of the original black ranger, Zack, in the "Mighty Morphin" series. According to Jones, they were not invited to the film so there will not be a cameo appearance from the original casts of the TV series. This could be the cause of dissapointment from diehard Power Ranger fans who wanted to see the original rangers given credit through cameo appearances in the film.

It is a bit surprising that Lionsgate did not ask any of the original actors to be seen in the series' "reboot". Usually, reboot films give credit to the original actors who made it famous just like what happened in "Ghostbusters". However, it could still be good that the film stands alone on its own, according to Cinema Blend.

However, the success of the film is not solely based on the appearance of the old actors that played as the Power Rangers before. The film's succes is its connection to its target audiences.  These target have high expectations with regards to this new film so it would be a bit difficult to please verybody.

Meanwhile, an interview with one of the cast of the movie and found out that the Alpha five and the Zords will be shoen in the movie, Nerdist reported. The cast of the film will be played by a new group which includes: Becky G as Trini (Yellow Ranger); RJ Cyler as Billy (Blue Ranger); Naomi Scott as Kimberly (Pink Ranger); Ludi Lin as Zack (Black Ranger); Dacre Montgomery as Jason (Red Ranger), and Elizabeth Banks stars as Rita Repulsa, with Bryan Cranston as Zordon. The film will hit the theatres on March 24, 2017.
