HTC One A9 faced controversies when it was released last October 2015 due to allegations of copyright violations from Apple iPhone designs. But just recently, the Taiwanese manufacturing firm is about to enter the fire zone again as their newest mobile flagship HTC One A9s is about to be launched. Could it be true that iPhone's idea was originally from HTC and not from Apple?

Soon after the release of the most controversial mobile handset device HTC One A9, one of the executives of HTC revealed that the whole idea of iPhone was originally from them and not from Apple. As reported by Dailymail UK, HTC President of North Asia Tong Jack said that they are not copying and as a matter of fact, they are the first company who came up with a uni-body metal-clad phone way back in 2013. He added that the Cupertino-based company copied their idea of antenna design on the back of the phone.

Despite the controversies, the Taiwanese manufacturing firm is set to launch the HTC One A9s during the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany according to Venture Beat's report. In addition, the HTC One A9s was considered as an almost doppelganger of Apple iPhone 6. Rumored specs include 32 GB storage that comes with a Micro SD card slot, 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, 13 MP camera, 4 GB of RAM, Li-Ion battery and powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The newest mobile flagship will come in three variants -- in black gold, white and bluish-silver. Also sensors such as fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass are included.

On the other hand, there are no confirmations from Apple whether or not the statement from HTC president was true. Still, HTC continues to claim that they were the first company who introduced smartphone to the market having delivered the first Android smartphone, the first 4G smartphone, the first Window smartphone and the first all-metal smartphone.
