LG Electronics Inc. is all geared up to launch the successor of the LG V10 in about a week, which the company called the device as LG V20. Speculations then poured out on the upcoming Android smartphone.

The tech company confirmed in early August that on September 6, its first Android Nougat-powered smartphone V20 will be launched. Since then, Google has also confirmed that the V20 will be the first new smartphone to be released with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, according to Gadgets 360.

The upcoming LG Android smartphone may sport a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen along with a display resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. Similar to LG V10, the LG V20 is highly anticipated to include a secondary display on top of the device's regular screen.

The LG V20 is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The upcoming smartphone could be available with 4 gigabyte or 6 gigabyte of RAM, based on the report of Tech Times.

As the predecessor was available with 32 gigabyte and 64 gigabyte of internal storage capacity, LG V20 is anticipated to be packed with 32, 64 and 128 gigabyte of on-board storage, and may come with microSD card for options to expand the storage capacity.

Rumor has it that LG V20 will be equipped with a 21mp rear camera and an 8mp front-facing camera.

The upcoming LG Android smartphone is expected to have some high-tech audio quality. As LG announced ahead of its revelation, that the smartphone is equipped with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, which produces clearer sound and decrease ambient noise, CNET reported.

Also, an official teaser video of the upcoming smartphone indicated that users will be able to reply to notifications without even opening an app.

However, as the tech company has confirmed that the upcoming LG Android smartphone will launch at an event on September 6 in San Francisco, it does not necessarily mean that the smartphone will hit the market immediately.
