Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has kept the Chinese smartphone manufacturer afloat despite the threat coming from rivals in its home soil this year. The Xiaomi Redmi Note is able to compete with the likes of Samsung, Huawei, and LG in China, but remains to be seen in the United Kingdom and North America.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the most recent phone launched by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to replace the one in the current market. With its low price and spectacular design, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 actually looks similar to its predecessor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has premium quality with specifications that could compete with high-end variants of the bigger names.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM which seems to be the standard these days, The Verge reported. However, there is also a slightly more expensive version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that comes with a 64GB internal storage and 3GB RAM.

MediaTek's10-core Helio X20 is the processor seen on the phone, which is unfamiliar to many but is quite powerful on paper. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a massive screen size of 5.5 inches and a full high-definition display of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

It runs Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the MIUI 8.0 user interface which is Xiaomi's very own. There is no telling whether it will eventually get an immediate upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat once it is launched.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has a full-metal Unibody combined with a fingerprint scanner at the rear, India Today reported. However, it does not come as a surprise because Xiaomi has already been talking about how the Redmi Note line of smartphones would appear that could compete in aesthetics with Samsung, LG, and Huawei.
