The mobile operator company - T-Mobile, has officially unleashed HTC and Samsung list of devices to get a taste of the latest Android 7.0 Nougat in the future. This follows nearly the same for the update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Android 7.0 Nougat, which is the latest version of Android, has rolled out earlier this week to a selected Nexus smartphone made by Google in collaboration with other OEM. The Nexus lineup is typically the first to get the latest operating system (OS). Non-Nexus devices usually have to wait in line for at least a few months before getting the upgrade.

Carrier versions of non-Nexus smartphones need have to patience even longer, as the update will have a thorough testing before being presented to consumers. But, T-Mobile wants customers to be aware that a number of devices on its network will be getting the Nougat update soon, according to Tech Times.

The list to get a taste of the latest Android 7.0 Nougat currently covers seven smartphones from Samsung and two HTC devices. The mobile operator company breaks down the upgrade process into three stages, the first stage will be the Manufacturer Development, then followed by T-Mobile Testing and Completed.

The smartphones of HTC to get the update are HTC 10 and One M9. While Samsung's devices are Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, as well as the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.

In the meantime, a variety of manufacturers are having a great deal in prioritizing and working on releasing the Nougat software update for their own handsets. Nougat brings in various improvements and some are more visible compared to others. Part of the update is the saver mode, in which the background data are restricted to most applications, Android Headlines reported.
